Summer Program
April – July | $250
Summer isn’t random workouts and ice time.
It’s a progression.
Every phase builds on the one before it — so players peak at the right time heading into Fall.
Program Overview & Weekly Structure
Phase 0: Habit Building (April)
Player App Training Begins
Training officially starts in April through our Player-Only TeambuildR app.
This phase includes:
- Light bodyweight workouts
- Mobility work
- Core stability
- Movement prep
- Basic conditioning
The goal is simple:
Wake the body up. Build consistency. Establish routine.
We don’t wait until May to “start.”
We build habits first.
Phase 1: Speed & Athletic Development (Late April)
Coach O Performance Training
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 5:30–6:30 PM @ Tigers SDC
Once players have a base of movement and consistency, we begin structured speed and athletic development.
Focus areas include:
- Acceleration mechanics
- First-step quickness
- Explosiveness
- Lateral movement
- Conditioning
- Injury prevention
Speed is built before strength.
A stronger player who can’t move well is limited.
We build the engine first.
Phase 2: Skill Development & Team Integration (Early May)
As speed training continues, we layer in hockey-specific development.
SDC Skill Sessions
Saturdays @ 12:00–1:30 PM @ Rampart SDC
- Stickhandling
- Shooting mechanics
- Passing
- Edge control
- Small-area compete
- Hockey IQ
These sessions sharpen hands and decision-making while athletic performance continues to improve.
Team Ice Touches (Early May – July)
Select Mondays @ World Arena
Saturday ice sessions focus on:
- Position-specific development
- Game concepts
- Team systems
- Compete habits
- Building chemistry for Fall

Leadership Through Teaching
Leadership is built into our summer structure.
Players serve in two roles:
SDC Skill Leadership – During Saturday skill sessions, players help demonstrate drills, explain fundamentals, and model execution.
When you teach a skill, you understand it at a deeper level.
Junior Camp Mentorship (Before Team Ice) – Before each Saturday ice session, players assist with Junior Camp at World Arena. They set the tone, model work ethic, and represent the program.
Teaching reinforces detail.
Mentoring builds maturity.
We are developing hockey players — and leaders.
Phase 3: Strength Development (Mid-May – 10 Weeks)
After:
- Over two months of app-based training
- 4–6 weeks of structured speed work
- Early-season ice touches
We begin the weight room phase.
Rampart Weight Room
Wednesdays | 5:30–7:00 PM
Begins Mid-May (10 Weeks)
This phase focuses on:
- Progressive strength
- Power production
- Core stability
- Durability
- Injury prevention
Additional lift days continue through the app.
Strength is layered on top of speed and movement — not rushed.
Why This Matters
We finished last season short of where we want to be.
If we want different results, we need different preparation.
Better teams are built with players who are:
- Stronger.
- Faster.
- More skilled.
- More accountable.
That doesn’t happen in November.
It happens now.
This summer is about ownership.
The players who go two feet in — who train consistently, compete, and lead — will drive this program forward.
The ones who treat it casually will keep us where we’ve been.
It’s that simple.
The work done this summer will either lead to growth — or another rough year.
The choice is ours.
2026
This is where we build the engine.
Players will train with Coach O to develop speed and explosiveness, sharpen puck skills at the SDC, get consistent team ice touches, mentor younger players at Junior Camp, and transition into a structured 10-week weight room program.
Includes app-based workouts, skill homework, and accountability tracking.
We’re not just skating this summer.
We’re building athletes.
